The global and permanent war, leaded by USA and their allies, goes on
and is worstening every day, spreading destruction and death from Iraq
to Afghanistan, from Palestine to Georgia.
The main tool of war is today the military alliance of NATO which is
trying to enlarge its intervention and its domination all over the
world, increasing the presence of military bases and trying to build
the missile Shield.
At the beginning of April 2009 NATO will celebrate its 60
anniversary. Heads of States and of governments will try to transform
it in a big propagandistic campaign for war and NATO.
On the 4th of April 2009, in Strasbourg-Kiehl, where the celebration
of NATO will take place, a big international demonstration will be
organized to say STOP TO NATO, FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF THIS TERRIBLE
TOOL OF WAR.
We also call all the movements of the countries which will not be
able to come to Strasbourg-Kiehl to organize demonstrations in their
own countries.
We propose that organisations and movements and networks taking part
in the WSF in Belem january 2009 try to launch there a global and
worldwide mobilization in the day of 4th of April against war, NATO
and other USA and imperialistic military alliances.
